
INGREDIENTS
Ladies finger -250gm
Onion – 1 Green chilli -2 or 3
Curry leaves
Salt
Grated coconut -1/2 coconut
Turmeric powder -1/2teaspoon
Coriander powder -2 tablespoon
Redchilli powder -your choice
Sweet cumin(Perum jeerakam) -1 teaspoon
Coconut oil
PREPARATION
Step 1
Heat coconut oil(2 or 2 ½ tbl spoon)in a pan and put mustard. Then add chopped onion and sliced green chilli and saut it for 1 minutes.Add ladies finger pieces and salute well for 2 to 3 minutes in a medium flame.then add salt and close the pan to cook it in a low flame.
Step 2
Preparation of Masala.
Fry the grated coconut, 2 to 3 small onions,and enough curry leaves till it become brown.then reduce the flame and add above mentioned powders and sweet cumin( perum jeerakam). Saut it for 3 to 4 seconds and flame off.Make a paste of this(better not to use water ). Step 3 Mix the masala paste to the ladies finger and stire well . Put enough water and allow to boil. Tasty ladies finger curry ready.
