
Mutton Biryani
Ingredients
1) Mutton – 1Kg
2) Green Chilly – 10Nos
3) Garlic – 5 nos
4) Shallots – 10Nos
5) Onion – 6 Nos
6) Ginger – 3-4 pieces
7) Tomato – 2nos
8) Ghee
9) lemon – 1nos
10) Coriander leaves
11) Basmathi rice – 2Kg
Method of Cooking.
Mash the ginger pieces nicely, add turmeric powder and salt into it and salute in two tablespoons of ghee. Add mutton pieces to this, add little water and 1/2 cup curd and cook nicely. Add chopped tomatoes and lemon juice to this. Between the cooking, garam masala, coriander leaves and Methi leaves. Once cooked well off the burner. Masala is ready.
Same time, take another vessel, boil water with clove, cinnamon, elachi and salt with rice. Almost cooked, remove the water and spread the rice on the masala prepared earlier. Add rice as layers of rice and masala. On the top layer, add roasted cashew nuts, raisins, onions also pineapple pieces and coriander leaves. Then add 50gm of ghee around the top layer.
Now, make a mix of coconut milk, grinded Badam and turmeric powder and add this to the biryani mix. Then seal the vessel tightly, when steam come out from the sealed vessel dum biryani is ready to serve.
