
Paithalmala – The Beauty of North Kerala
Wish to see the beauty of the mist which landed on earth to visit its counterparts of forest and the valleys? Come and enjoy and the beautiful sceneries of Paithalmala, the extreme end of Kannur, the district of Kerala.
Located in the western ghats of Kerala, near to the village Kappimala and on the border of Kerala and Karnataka States.
The wild green forest and the breathtaking chillness take you to the world of heaven and earth holding hands together.
Your ways might be blocked with elephants and leeches, but the treasures at the top of the hill station is worth more than anything that you suffered. You can go for a one day trekking or even a night stay, that should be marvelous. There are enough resorts available for a night stay.
You can choose either summer or monsoon season, but those who wish to go and hide in the green grass, go for August, September and October months. Those who need the deep mist and the chillness, go for the lovely December and January months.
There are two different ways to reach Paithalmala. One is through Kappimala and the other one is the way through Pottanplavu.
Almost an hour walk through the forest path gives you the breathtaking views of Paithal valley and the rich green grassland. More than this you must have a try to the observatory tower. You will go to heaven.
