
Plum Cake
Ingredients
Maida – 300gm
Butter – 150gm
Sugar – 300gm
Eggs – 5 Nos
Nuts – 1/4Cup
Raisins – 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder – 2.5 Teaspoon (12.5gm)
Vanila Essence – 1 Teaspoon
Clove – 1No
Method Of Cooking
Prepare the caramel first. Heat a pan, add 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir and melt and continue until it gets dark brown in color or the caramel color. Pour water when it’s done well. Now we got the sugar caramel syrup. Keep it aside to cool.
Mix baking powder and Maida in a bowl. Beat sugar powder and butter using an Electric beater, well. Beat eggs well and add to the mix. Add the caramel syrup, dry fruits and the spice powder to the mix and mix it well. Heat the oven for 10minutes at 350/180c . Apply butter on a cake pan, and fill the cake mix into it. Bake it for 45 minutes. The easy plum cake is ready for a Christmas celebration. Decorate and serve.
